The Most Exciting Moment

Hello l want to tell story a most interesting event in my life....

Febuary 21st 2013 was a really nerve-wracking day. It was the day when l had to be a representative frohe nerve-wracking indonesia, concentrating in culture and leadership,in an event was centered in thailand(ASEAN YOTH CAMP),and it mademe thrilled and nervous as well.what was thrilling and nerne-wracking abaiut this event?
The interesting parts was when l met various kind of people with their own habits, and when l have to adapt with their culture.in the otherhand, the nerve-wracking part was the time before we left for thailand. We had to competewith each other to fight for the spot as a representative,so the intensity was higher.
Culture was divided into two division:
1.      Kinds of indonesian culture
2.      Traditional music and dance performance
I got in to the second division where l was in charge to introduce indonesian traditional dances. In this ASEAN youth event, there were 3 delegates from indonesia. They came from Bali,Banten,Sukabumi.we teamed up and did the preparation for our performance.we ddeparted on Febuary 20th 2013 in the afternoon, and arrived at night. After we got there,we were picked up by the committee and then they took us the dorm in kamalasai.the event was not held in bangkok so we had to travel more to get there. We spent 7 hours to travel from airport to the drom.it’s the same amount of to get to semarang from sukabumi. We arrived at the drom in the early morning.
As we arrived there, we went to our own room right away. But, there’s one strange thing that I discovered in Thailand. Thailand has so much “lady boys”, and that made me shocked. This one strange thing, apparently, made Thailand a unique country. Although there were so much “lady boys”, this countries’ young people love their culture. Not only Thailand though, other countries such as Vietnam, Philippines, and Cambodia have young generation that loves their culture.
Thailand also has a same characteristic with Indonesia. Indonesia has so many traditional languages, but most of the people are able to use Melayu Language especially the people in Borneo, because their region is the frontier of Malaysia. The same goes with Thailand. Thailand has 5 province and one of them, Kalasin (which is the place where the event was held), is the frontier of Philippines. So there’s no doubt that Kalasin people are capable in speaking Filipino Language.
Anyway, there are too many interesting things that I experienced there in Thailand. It would be too long if I have to tell all of the story here. That’s all for my interesting experience Thank’s.
